Tour de France 2010

In 2010, the 97th Tour de France covers 3,600 kilometres. The race starts in Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and finishes in Paris, on Champs-Élyssés as always.

The Tour launches with a Prologue in Rotterdam, followed by the Grand start with the first stage from Rotterdam to Brussels, in Belgium. The organizers have selected 22 teams to compete for the coveted yellow jersey, and the other prizes.

This year, the Tourmalet will be climbed twice, as two of the 21 higher mountain passes.
