The Ski resort Ax-3 Domaines has hosted the tour since 2001. Ax 3 Domaines includes three skiing areas Bonascre, which hosts the stage finish, Saguet and Campels. Major developments are being made to keep the resorts in high class. The town, Ax les Thermes, dating back to the Middle Ages, hosts a spa centre, casino, wildlife reserve and much more.
